The rules of content curation go against everything we were initially taught about creating something. What if I told you that you should ditch the draft, redraft, edit and reedit process?

Now I’m not saying you shouldn’t proofread a tweet for spelling errors! Although what I am saying is that if we constantly strive for unattainable perfection it freezes up a creative flow.

At University I had a class in my first year that assessed 5 original memes a week on lecture content. The marking component forced the cohort produce consistent content and engage with the class in order to be relatable. The same method can be applied when creating memes relevant to current events and is important practice in producing bulk content.

HOW CAN I ACHIEVE THIS?

So what do you do? Well as Gary Vaynerchuk, entrepreneur and internet personality, suggests in his “How to make 64 pieces of content in a day” a big part of this is using the same content slightly tailored across multiple platforms.

  1. Contextualise and replicate a post across multiple platforms

Check out the link for more examples and how to apply them!

Its also is worth researching a bit it about algorithms if you get right into posting to know how top maximise who sees your content and why. Check out Brent Barnharts “Everything you need to know about social media algorithms”
